Inner Mongolia University of Technology


Inner Mongolia University of Technology, located in Hohhot, was founded in 1951. It is an application-oriented multidisciplinary university focusing on engineering, integrating science, management, law, literature, economics, and arts, offering a complete system of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral education. The university has four campuses, 23 teaching units, and eight autonomous region-level exemplary colleges, with 84 undergraduate majors and multiple national and regional key disciplines. It operates several national and regional research platforms and undertakes numerous major research projects, demonstrating strong scientific research capabilities. With nearly 1,600 full-time faculty members, including many nationally recognized talents, the university enrolls over 28,000 full-time students, including about 4,300 graduate students. The university actively promotes international cooperation, collaborating with over 90 universities and enterprises worldwide, and has received numerous national awards and funding. College of Aeronautics, Inner Mongolia University of Technology


In response to the economic and social development needs of the Autonomous Region and the "Belt and Road" and "Seven Networks Construction," especially aviation network development, Inner Mongolia University of Technology established the School of Aviation in 2017. The school has 47 faculty members, including 4 professors, and 941 students, with 3 master's programs and 4 undergraduate majors. It undertakes multiple national and provincial research projects, publishes over 50 papers, and has received numerous teaching and innovation awards. Collaborating with universities and enterprises, the school focuses on the civil and general aviation industries and aerospace technology in the region, fostering multidisciplinary applied aviation talents. All faculty and students commit to deepening industry-education integration and supporting regional economic development and national modernization under the guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping's directives.
