Biography:
Junxi Bi is the Vice Dean of the College of Aeronautics, Inner Mongolia University of Technology, a professor, and a doctoral supervisor. He serves as a review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), an editorial board member of the Journal of Inner Mongolia University of Technology (Natural Science Edition), a member of the Patent Award Evaluation Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, a member of the Military-Civil Integration Standardization Technical Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and an intellectual expert in the Intellectual Property Talent Think Tank of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. He is also an executive director of the Inner Mongolia New Productive Forces Technology Society, an executive director of the Inner Mongolia Mechanics Society, the vice chairman of the Special Committee on Electronic Product Reliability and Quality Management of the Sichuan Electronics Society, and the chairman of the Low-Altitude Economy Special Committee of the Inner Mongolia New Productive Forces Technology Society. He has presided over more than 20 national and provincial projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, key R&D and achievement transformation projects of the autonomous region, autonomous region science and technology plans, and the Inner Mongolia Natural Science Foundation, as well as more than 10 industry projects. He has published over 100 academic papers, with more than 30 indexed by SCI and EI; holds over 20 authorized patents including invention patents, utility models, and software copyrights. He participated in drafting two national energy industry standards for the National Energy Administration and two local standards for the autonomous region. He has also published one nationally planned textbook and co-authored the book “Smart Factory Technology and Application.” His awards include a Special Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Surveying and Mapping from Henan Province, the China Smart Wind Power Innovation Application Case Award, and the Excellent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentor Award of the Chinese International College Students’ Innovation Competition from the Autonomous Region’s Department of Education.

Biography:
Professor Agarwal has worked in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Computational Acoustics and Electromagnetic, Computational Materials Science and Manufacturing, and Multidisciplinary Design & Optimization and their applications to problems in mechanical and aerospace engineering, and in energy and environment. He is the author and coauthor of over 600 publications. He is a Fellow of 28 professional societies including American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), American Association for Advancement of Science (AAAS), American Physical Society (APS), and U.K. Institute of Physics among others. He has received many prestigious honors and national/international awards from various professional societies and organizations for his research contributions including the AIAA Reeds Aeronautics Award, SAE Medal of Honor, ASME Honorary Membership and Honorary Fellowship from Royal Aeronautical Society.
